Yith is an NPC in Arknights. He is a supporting character in Code of Brawl.

Background

The mysterious man named Yith is one of the staff in Penguin Logistics who is responsible for maintaining and safekeeping their equipment. He also provides technology-related and communications support to them when needed. But unlike the other P.L. members, Yith prefers to work from behind-the-scenes due to his socially isolated attitude and the fact that he is not fit for combat.[1]

Story

Code of Brawl

Early before the "Sauin gag," Yith was making his way to the streets of Lungmen and met Mostima. He grumbled that the trouble caused by the other P.L. gang gave him an excuse to not partaking in a cocktail party. Seeing their current condition, Mostima entrusted Yith to look after one of her staves and headed on to assist the rest.[1] Although Yith preferred to stay behind and watch the show, he also offerered his minor aid such as telling Texas and Sora the location of Croissant and Bison when the gang were were separated after the Siracusan mafiosi after their attack on The Ends of the Earth bar.[2]

During the wacky "gag," Yith was enjoying the scenery of Lungmen in the Al Fresco cafe. He coincidentally encountered Fiammetta and recognized her as Mostima's handler. Fiammetta dismissesd Yith, who was carrying one of Mostima's staves with him, as a "freak who talks to a staff." When questioning about Mostima, both Fiammetta and Yith agreed that they did not need to worry about her.[3]

Yith and Fiammetta later headed to the streets where the Sauin carnival took place, only to see that Emperor was dead. Fiammetta wondered why Yith and the rest seemed not be bothered by Emperor's "death," and he replied that they had been used to it. When Fiammetta immediately left after seeing that Mostima could handle the situation, Yith wondered that whether every Lateran simply "appears, talks, and leaves."[4]

Mostima: Atop the Skyscrapers

Mostima and Yith were observing Exusiai from afar. Seeing his presence, Mostima handed him the Black Lock for a quick maintenance. He noticed that the "staff" seems to be in a bad mood and did not wish to greet him, and Mostima replied that it always happens. Meanwhile, Yith learnt from her that both the Black Lock and the White Key originated from Kazdel. Although Yith wanted to learn more about how she got it, Mostima commented that it was very troublesome to explain and suggested him to ask Fiammetta for the details. In turn, Yith joked that Fiammetta seems to be a troublesome woman, but an arrow shot by her from the dark alley made him shut his mouth and quickly left the spot.[5]
