Uncle Tung is an NPC in Arknights. He first appears in Code of Brawl and makes a full appearance in Lee's Detective Agency: A Day in Lungmen.

Background

The old man surnamed Tung is both Jaye's adopted father and a close friend of both Mr. Lee of Lee's Detective Agency and Lin Kojui the "Rat King." Most of the time, he is a mere fishmonger running his own seafood stall called Bak Hoi. On the other side, however, he is one of the "triads" of the underworld of Lungmen who often helps Lin in time of trouble.[1]

Tung is noted to be an excellent finball master who passes on his culinary skill to Jaye. While appearing to be a rough-mannered old man, he is nevertheless a popular figure in Lungmen.

Story

Code of Brawl

During the Sauin "gag," Uncle Tung is targeted by the Sicilians led by Capone and Gambino as part of their plan to usurp the Rat King's rule over the underground world. His stall is mercilessly harassed by them and he is heavily beaten by the mafiosi. When Jaye returns and cleans up the mess, Tung persuades him not to be involved in this matter and said that it is just a normal setback. He even told Jaye to accept the new job offer from Hoshiguma in order to clean the slum's misunderstanding with the L.G.D. However, the incident couldn't dissuade the young man from seeking revenge towards the mafiosi.

After seeing his son leaving, the Rat King pays a visit to his messy stall. The Rat King couldn't stand to see such tragedy and vows to avenge him. Seeing that his old friend can't be stopped, Tung sighs and reluctantly accepts his will. In turn, the Rat King brings him to a nearby clinic to treat his wounds.[2]

During the Sauin night, Tung and the Rat King pays their visit to a cemetery where those who fell during the Chernobog-Lungmen incident rests. Specifically, they sweep the tomb of Ah Faat. There, they talked about their lives and the past events, including how the Rat King would "took a bullet" to protect Wei Yenwu. In return, the Rat King told Tung to keep on living and selling finballs, as it's not the time for him to die yet.[3]
