Tatyana Yevgenyevna Larina is an NPC in Arknights. She is a minor character in The Rides to Lake Silberneherze and a supporting character in Leto's Operator Record, Hide-and-Seek.

Background

An eccentric and flamboyant Ursine woman, Tatyana is a famous explorer and the mother of Operator Rosalind of the U.S.S.G.. Despite suffering from Oripathy, she's always noted for her enthusiasm and disposition.

Tatyana was also the wife of the Paleroche clan's patriarch Arctosz Paleroche, whom she met more than 20 years ago during a cold winter in Kjerag, after she hit him with a snowball from above a tree. Against all odds, Arctosz and Tatyana fell in in love with each other almost immediately, and the former managed to convince his father to marry her despite Kjerag isolationism at the time, and the Paleroches' conservative ideals. Eventually, Tatyana gave birth to Rosalind, who spent her first two years of life in Kjerag. However, in the Terran year 1082, after Olafur Silverash died in a train accident with his wife, Kjerag entered a state of political uncertainty which forced Arctosz to take a difficult decision; leave Tatyana and Rosalind behind in order to reassure the Paleroches' position in the Tri-Clan Council. For the following years, Tatyana has been living a seemingly normal life raising her daughter in Ursus, already moving on from Arctosz.[1]

During the Chernobog incident, Tatyana contracted Oripathy while looking for Rosalind amidst the Catastrophe that was engulfing the city.[1] Fortunately, Rhodes Island managed to rescue her from the ruins alongside Rosalind and her friends, and has been receiving treatment aboard ever since. While Rosalind is in charge of paying Tatyana's treatment using her commission savings, she's reluctant about her further plans on field operations despite her stable infection status.[2][3]
