The Grand Commandant is an NPC in Arknights. He is a minor character in Here A People Sows.
Background[edit]
A tough, yet sickly man, little is know about the current Grand Commandant besides being one of the Three Dukes, the most powerful individuals beneath the True Lung. However, despite his status, he's implied to be collaborating with the Shanhaizhong, as he let them and Ya infiltrate Yumen, thereby being the mastermind behind the city's unrest. On top of that, he was also behind Wang's escape from Baizao, the Imperial capital.[1]

Here A People Sows[edit]
The Grand Commandant was interrogated by the Grand Tutor during a "leisurely hike" up Mount T'ien. He confessed to being the mastermind behind the recent string of events related to the Sui proxies. He wishes to awaken the Sui, but grows concerned about Wang's increasingly unpredictable actions. With Yumen set to arrive at Yan's capital soon, he presses the Grand Tutor about what to do next.
