Confirmed to be a Dublinn intelligence officer. For more details refer to page three of Main Report One. Mission Objective: Investigate and identify the mysterious key figure. Mission Details: Investigate the key figure of the County Hillock incident and learn about their background and current situation. Mission Result: Successful. Individual identified as Loughshinny, a female Draco. For her personal information, relationship with Dublinn, and activity history in Counties Hillock and Trent, refer to page six of Main Report Two.' Fischer sits at a city council office desk, writing furiously. After accidentally contracting Oripathy, this is the first time he has gotten the chance to sort out what happened during that period. He is more than familiar with the procedure. A mission report is but the final page of intelligence work. He only needs to record a success or failure, and in theory it would be impossible for complications to occur. 'Mission Objective: Scout the Dublinn troops' movements.' He suddenly stops writing, and the feeling from several hours ago resurfaces, confusion and disorder once more intertwining inside his mind. He seems to hear again those Tarans crying out just before they die, the roars of a high-speed battleship passing through the land, and that poor refugee merchant's house crashing down. 'Note: During the scouting operation, a Taran refugee was discovered residing in the path of the Dublinn army's landship, and was warned and persuaded to leave the area.' He involuntarily adds the sentence before immediately striking it out with his pen. The refugee might have survived, but his fate no longer matters. A war affecting millions of lives is practically an inevitability. Chaos and disorder will continue to spread, yet he has no power to do a thing about it with his current identity. He looks at the side of his desk, where fragments of white lie scattered upon it. A puzzle he somehow just can't figure out how to solve today. In silence he tears up the report. If he is unable to solve it the way he used to, he might as well start anew from the first piece. He needs to start from a new perspective, instead of solving this riddle with any of the identities granted to him. A sudden knock sounds, and a man suited in gray pushes open the office door. 'Mr. Fischer, the car called by the Duke is here, waiting for you downstairs.' The man brings an unexpected order. 'Just a moment. I'll go once I'm done with this last document.' He replies immediately, with a new plan already in mind. Outside the window, the sky ushers in a long-absent sun. |
