Chip
Chips are a promotion material in Arknights.
Usage[edit]
This memory chip contains data about special training for Operators, which translates to being a prerequisite for the promotion of 4★ and above Operators to Elite 1.
4★ Operators require three Chips of their corresponding class for their Elite 1 promotion, while 5★ and 6★ Operators require four and five, respectively.

Chips can be farmed on the first Fearless Protection, Fierce Attack, Solid Defense, and Unstoppable Charge operation.
- PR-A-1: Defender Chip/Medic Chip
- PR-B-1: Caster Chip/Sniper Chip
- PR-C-1: Supporter Chip/Vanguard Chip
- PR-D-1: Guard Chip/Specialist Chip
Both Chips in each chip operation have a roughly 50:50 drop rate.
