Sal Viento Bishop Quintus is a boss enemy in Arknights. It is the main boss of Under Tides.

Enemy description
A member of the Church of the Deep who snuck into disaster-ravaged Iberia. He changed the law of the land through his sincere beliefs, in pursuit of the perfect form, yet he was unable to fathom the will of the ocean. Then again, who could?

Story

Overview

Taking up no less than 5×3 tiles on the map (as well as being the first "large" boss that occupies multiple tiles), Sal Viento Bishop Quintus has massive HP along with decent defenses, yet its ATK is surprisingly low despite having a global range, but Quintus' wide array of abilities more than make up for his immobility.

Attacks can hit up to two targets simultaneously, prioritize targets with the highest DEF, and inflicts Nervous Impairment equal to 20% ATK.
Innate
Great Tide
Releases a bluish wave that deals Arts damage and inflicts Nervous Impairment equal to 50% ATK to all friendly units.

Collapse
Slams the ground, causing stalactites to fall onto two targets that deals Physical damage equal to 140% ATK.
37 sec. 40 sec.
Fragmentation
Spawns two or three Offsprings on predetermined undeployable tiles around the map.
50 sec. 40 sec.
Enters the second phase once HP falls below ~67% or 75 seconds have passed from when Quintus spawns (where blue aura pools around Quintus), gaining the following traits:
  • ATK increased by 40%.
  • The (initial) cooldown of Great Tide is reduced to (15) 35 seconds and the Nervous Impairment inflicted is increased to ~67% ATK.
  • The initial cooldown of Collapse is reduced to 4 seconds and it can now hit up to four targets simultaneously.
  • The (initial) cooldown of Fragmentation is reduced to (10) 35 seconds.
Innate
Enters the third phase once HP falls below ~33% or 200 seconds have passed after entering the second phase (where black particles swirl around Quintus), gaining the following traits:
  • ATK further increased by 70% for a total of +110% ATK.
  • The (initial) cooldown of Great Tide is reduced further to (1) 3.5 seconds but both the Arts damage dealt and Nervous Impairment inflicted are reduced to 20% (Lv0)/30% (Lv1) ATK.
    • Despite the cooldown now matching its attack interval, Quintus will never use Great Tide twice in a row, always either attacking once or using another ability between them.
  • The initial cooldown of Collapse is increased to 13 seconds and it can now hit up to eight targets simultaneously.
  • The (initial) cooldown of Fragmentation is changed to (15) 18 (Lv0)/(25) 30 (Lv1) seconds.
Innate
Species Outbreak
If not defeated in 200 (Lv0)/250 (Lv1) seconds after entering the third phase, Quintus becomes invulnerable and unleashes a massive wave that reduces the Life Points to 0.
