The Great Wingbeast is a boss enemy in the Reclamation Algorithm game mode of Arknights.

Enemy description
An extremely silent Great Wingbeast. This Infected creature has a pair of crystallized wings bigger than its body, but cannot fly too high or for too long. A ferocious carnivore, but this one seems to have had its meal, and is merely curious about the tiny things that have appeared before it.

Overview

A gargantuan wingbeast which is only capable of limited flight due to its size and only fights back when threatened despite being carnivorous, the Great Wingbeast starts in a docile state and will enter an aggressive state when attacked, upon which it will search for the attacker, becoming docile again if not attacked for 20 seconds.

If the player wishes to slay the Great Wingbeast (and obtain six to ten Marrow Fungus.png Marrow Fungus in the process), do note that it is a horrifying and powerful creature in large part thanks to its monumental HP and ATK along with significant defenses and immunity to environmental damage; this allows it to soak up massive amounts of punishment while dealing just as much in return, although it is vulnerable to nearly all debuffs and Negative Statuses except Silence.

In addition, 60 seconds after being aggravated, the Great Wingbeast will take flight for 50 seconds, during which it uses a ranged fireball attack that deals 30% of its ATK as Arts damage in a radius of 0.8 tiles and inflicts Burn Damage equal to 10% of its ATK. The Great Wingbeast will take flight again every 10 seconds after landing, but its cooldown will reset to 60 seconds if the Great Wingbeast becomes docile again.
