Traits
  • [Singing Sands] Targets a unit with the highest Max HP, dealing heavy physical damage to the target and nearby allied units within a cross area

The Rat King is the main boss of Code of Brawl.

Enemy description
Lin, Lin Gray, the Rat King of the slum. He bears many titles, just like the shifting of the city's shadows underneath his feet. Don't touch the red lines. If you ever have a moment of indecisiveness, whatever it is that you were concerned about will become nothing more than a whisper in the winds above the dunes.

Overview[edit]

Deals massive physical damage to the Operator with the highest Max HP; greatly decreases the ATK of, and deals continuous Arts damage to the operator with the lowest Max HP.

The Rat King lives up to his reputation with high HP, damaging Arts attacks, and serviceable defenses. In addition to his prowess, the Rat King places emphasis on the careful deployment of friendlies due to his two AoE attacks with unique targeting mechanisms; fortunately, he is fair enough to warn the player about who he is targeting with these attacks, so they can be easily anticipated.

Creates a blast of sand targeting the friendly unit with the current highest maximum HP (who will be marked by a red crosshair), dealing 800 (Lv0)/1500 (Lv1) Physical damage to the target and friendly units within the range shown below.

Sand Tomb
Creates a sand tornado centered on the friendly unit with the current lowest maximum HP (who will be marked by a blue arrow and circle) that lasts for 15 seconds, dealing 70 (Lv0)/100 (Lv1) Arts damage every second to the target and friendly units in the surrounding 8 tiles, while reducing the affected units' ATK by 70%.

Lv1: 15 sec.
Lv0: 25 sec.
Lv1: 20 sec.
Becomes enraged when HP falls below 50% (indicated by a red aura surrounding the Rat King), increasing damage dealt by 50% (Lv0)/70% (Lv1).

Trivia[edit]

  • Unlike other enemies (but similar to W), the Rat King do not disintegrate when defeated, but rather applauds before disappearing, showing his respect to those who managed to best him.
