Pancho Salas acts as the main boss of Dossoles Holiday.

Enemy description
Pancho Salas, an old veteran piloting a heavily modified motorboat. Even should his vessel be destroyed, he will never falter before reaching his goal.

Overview

Pancho makes up for his middling HP by packing formidable offensive and defensive capabilities atop his heavily armored and armed, amphibious motorboat, and wielding a grenade launcher and an anchor outside it that make for a powerful threat, especially with his wide array of abilities:

  • Pancho initially starts on the motorboat with the following properties:
    • Immune to Erosion, allowing him to safely move through Deep Water Zones.
    • Attacks in melee by ramming the target.
    • Immune to Stun.
    • Summon Kites on certain tiles around the map 5 seconds after Pancho spawns and every 20 seconds afterward.
    • Summon Pancho's Explosive Boats on his position 15 seconds after Pancho spawns and every 17 seconds afterward.
    • A special attack where Pancho locks onto the friendly unit with the highest maximum HP within a range of 3.5 tiles before firing the motorboat's main gun on the target for 5 seconds, dealing Arts damage and inflicting Corrosion Damage equal to 20% of his ATK every second, with a cooldown of 20 seconds from when Pancho spawns and 18 seconds afterwards.
  • When his HP reaches 0 for the first time, Pancho's motorboat will be destroyed and he will be ejected from it, landing on a specific tile if he hasn't reached it yet or on the spot otherwise (becoming invulnerable throughout the animation, which takes ~3.5 seconds). After landing, Pancho himself will continue his path from where he lands, losing the properties he had while on the motorboat but gains the following:
    • Invulnerable for 10 seconds, indicated by a yellow aura surrounding him.
    • ASPD increased by 30.
    • Attacks by swinging his anchor from a short distance, which inflicts Corrosion Damage equal to 30% of Pancho's ATK and is considered as a ranged attack, allowing Pancho to hit friendlies in both melee and ranged tiles.
    • Swings his anchor on a circle in the first attack after Pancho enters the second phase and every third attack afterward, which hits friendlies in a radius of 1.7 tiles around him.
    • A special attack where Pancho locks on up to three friendly units with the highest DEF from a range of 3.5 tiles before firing his grenade launcher at all of them sequentially, dealing Physical damage equal to half his ATK and halves the target's DEF for 10 seconds; the DEF debuff is applied before the damage is dealt and does not stack. The special attack has a cooldown of 6 seconds after Pancho enters the second phase and every 18 seconds afterwards.
    • When Pancho manages to knock out a friendly unit or he is defeated (including entering a Protection Objective), he will release a pulse which increases the ASPD and speed of all enemies present at the time (including Pancho himself in the former case) by 100 and 50%, respectively, for 10 seconds, which do not stack if the pulses occur in a quick succession.
