Ya acts as the main boss of Where Vernal Winds Will Never Blow.

Enemy description
The executor of the Feranmut, "Ya." According to the Sui Regulators' ancient scrolls, one of the Feranmuts hunted by the Yan a thousand years ago, with the mystical ability to "cut away the seasons and hold them at Its bosom." Its wounds still refuse to close, and It laps at them in fury and bewilderment... It returns once more to familiar Yan soil.

Overview

Ya boasts significant HP, decently damaging Arts attacks, and high RES, although Its DEF is somewhat average. It further compounds Its prowess with multiple abilities designed to disorientate and overwhelm Operators.

  • Ya initially uses a melee Arts attack with Its sword.
  • Winter's Void: Creates a misty layer on tiles passed by Ya, unless if the tile already has a Winter's Void on it.[note 1]
    • The Winter's Void spawns an additional enemy on the spot every 30 seconds, either a Di Beast (Level 0)/Raging Di Beast (Level 1) or Shanhaizhong Relayer (Level 0)/Shanhaizhong Phalanx (Level 1) 2/3 and 1/3 of the time, respectively, and lasts for 121 seconds; enemies spawned this way are excluded from the enemy counter.
  • Spring's Birth: Spawns a Mirage[note 2] when blocked that follows Ya's path (appearing identically to Ya Itself but uses a golden sword instead of Ya's black one); if the Mirage is not destroyed in 18 seconds, Ya will warp into its position, destroying the Mirage in the process. Spring's Birth will be used when Ya is blocked for the first time and has a cooldown of 25 seconds afterward, and the Mirage has the following properties:
  • When Ya's HP is reduced to 0 for the first time, It will survive and revive Itself by fully restoring Its HP over 15 seconds, during which It is invulnerable and disabled. After being revived, Ya enters Its second phase with the following properties:
    • Invulnerable for 4 seconds.
    • Now uses a ranged Arts attack with a range of 3.5 tiles.
    • Has Low-Altitude Hovering.
    • Autumn's Bounty: Spawns a Delusion[note 3] at a predetermined position on the map upon entering the second phase (appearing identically to Ya Itself but uses a golden sword instead of Ya's black one), which has its own route and the following properties:
      • 50000 (65000 at Level 1) HP, 400 (500 at Level 1) ATK, 400 DEF, and 40 RES, uses a ranged Arts attack with a range of 3.5 tiles, and has Low-Altitude Hovering.
      • Invulnerable for 2 seconds after spawning.
      • Can use Winter's Void (see above) and Worldly Self (see below).
      • When the Delusion leaves the map, Ya will lose 35% of Its maximum HP, which can defeat It; when Ya leaves the map while the Delusion is present, it will be instantly destroyed.
    • Slice the Seasons: Ya and the Delusion release a blast dealing Arts damage equal to 2× their ATK to friendly units in a radius of 1.5 tiles, and swaps their position, route, and HP percentage. Slice the Seasons will be used as soon as the Delusion spawns and when Ya's HP falls below 25% (below 70% and 30% HP at Level 1) as long as it is present.
    • Worldly Self: Releases a blast that deals Arts damage equal to 2× of Ya's ATK to friendly units in a radius of 1.5 tiles around It. Ya will use Worldly Self immediately upon entering the second phase and every 15 seconds afterward.
