The Damazti Cluster acts as the main boss of Episode 12.

Enemy description
A long-lived that has drifted away from the Sarkaz Royal Court. They have taken the rise and fall of the various races as a sort of life experience, but the Damazti Cluster has yet to find the answer to what "living" means.

Overview

It turns out that the Damazti Cluster is not limited to only causing trouble to enemies of Kazdel and the Sarkaz from within through their mimicry; when forced to get their hands dirty, the Cluster has a surprisingly enormous pool of HP alongside decent defenses, and their wide array of abilities designed to disorient and overwhelm defenses makes them a formidable foe.

  • The Damazti Cluster is a Spy; they spawn disguised as a Norport Civilian and are invulnerable, but do not attack until their identity is compromised.
    • The Cluster is surrounded by a golden aura indicating their invulnerability when disguised, which is a dead giveaway.
  • The Damazti Cluster's attacks, Derivative Iteration, and Lifeline Burst (see below) all inflict Corrosion Damage equal to 25% of their ATK.
  • When the Damazti Cluster loses 50% of their maximum HP, they will summon an Isomorphic Fragment over 2 seconds, during which they are invulnerable.
    • The Isomorphic Fragment spawns from an Incursion Point except in H12-3 where it is directly spawned on a certain position on the map and is basically an identical clone of the Cluster, sharing the same appearance, stats, and abilities (including being a Spy, starting off disguised as a Civilian, inflicting Corrosion Damage on each attack, and has Derivative Iteration and Lifeline Burst).
    • If any of the Fragments are not compromised at any given time, the Cluster and all Fragments will be invulnerable.
    • The Cluster and the Fragments possess a shared HP; damaging the Cluster or a Fragment will count as damaging all of them.
      • If the Cluster or any Fragment leaves the map, they all will follow suit.
    • For each Isomorphic Fragment present, the Cluster and all Fragments take 20% less Physical and Arts damage, which stacks multiplicatively.
  • Derivative Iteration: The Damazti Cluster and all Isomorphic Fragments simultaneously lock onto the most recently deployed friendly unit (which is marked with a cyan aura) and each launch an attack dealing Physical damage equal to their ATK, with a cooldown of 10 seconds from when the Cluster spawns and every 20 seconds after.
  • When the Damazti Cluster's HP reaches 0 for the first time, they will survive and revive themselves over 30 seconds, during which the Cluster and all Isomorphic Fragments are invulnerable, disabled, and turns into a pool of blue liquid covering a radius of 1.75 tiles, dealing 100 (150 at Level 1) Arts damage every second to friendly units within which can stack if multiple pools overlap. After revival, the Cluster enters their second phase with the following properties:
    • Invulnerable for 5 seconds.
    • Lifeline Burst: Marks all friendly units for a burst that deals 375 Arts damage to the targets and friendlies adjacent to them after a delay of ~6 seconds, then spawns a Deconstructed Distortion over each target. Lifeline Burst will be immediately used after the Damazti Cluster enters the second phase and every 50 seconds afterward.
    • When the Damazti Cluster loses 50% of their maximum HP, they and all Isomorphic Fragments will lock onto the last deployed friendly unit, prioritizing those with no other allies in the surrounding tiles (indicated by a magnifying glass symbol over them), for 20 seconds during which the Cluster and all Fragments are invulnerable. A second Isomorphic Fragment will then be spawned on the target's position after 15 seconds, which will instantly defeat the target even if their HP is locked to a certain amount and they cannot be redeployed for the rest of the operation, even if the target leaves the map in the meantime. The Fragment will then warp into a certain position on the map after 2 seconds.
      • The Cluster and all Fragments can still move and attack while locked onto the target ally.
      • If the target leaves the map before the second Fragment spawns, it will immediately spawn, although the Cluster and the Fragments' invulnerability timer still counts down.
      • The second Fragment, unlike the first, is not disguised as a Civilian.
      • If the Cluster is using Lifeline Burst when their HP reaches the threshold, they will finish the attack before using this ability. If enough damage is dealt to the Cluster during this timeframe, it is possible to defeat the Cluster before they becomes invulnerable.

Addendum
  • In 12-16, the Damazti Cluster appears in a group of three.
  • In H12-1, H12-3, and H12-4, the Damazti Cluster receives additional abilities; for more information, see the Enemy section of the respective operations.

The Damazti Clusters in 12-16 are actually a different enemy (as shown in the Archives) with the code of DC3 and a different description as follows, and their stats are all displayed as question marks.

The long-lived that wanders outside the Sarkaz Royal Court, facing the path of flame.
