Crazelyseon, the Ascendant of Cosmoi is a boss enemy in the Integrated Strategies game mode of Arknights. It is one of the possible final bosses of Expeditioner's Joklumarkar.

Enemy description
An instinct as chaotic as thought itself.

Overview[edit]

An instinct as chaotic as thought itself. Invulnerable
—Tooltip

Crazelyseon boasts very high stats all around and the player will have to utilize the provided mechanics to send Crazelyseon back to where it belonged while weathering its attacks and abilities.

Ability Initial CD Cooldown
  • Invulnerable, does not move, and can neither be blocked (redundant as Crazelyseon is always on an undeployable tile) nor shifted.
    • While the Dimensional Anchoring Pylon's skill is active (5 seconds, or 10 seconds when Overcharged; half as long in Sentinel), Crazelyseon's invulnerability will be removed. However, Crazelyseon still cannot be attacked if the Pylon is active while it is teleporting or reviving.
  • Attacks can hit up to two targets within range.
  • Periodically teleports to different positions on the map instead of moving around (see the Enemies section of Gardener and Sentinel for more information). 1.2 seconds after teleporting, two random tiles closest to Crazelyseon are turned into Seedbeds; tiles already turned into Seedbeds will not be targeted.
  • Seedbeds: The friendly unit on a Seedbeds take 50 Arts damage every second and has their ASPD reduced by 50.
Innate
Increases damage dealt against targets on Seedbeds to 200%.
Passive
Revives over 5 seconds when defeated for the first time, after which Crazelyseon has its ATK increased by 50%.
Self-destructs if not defeated in 10 minutes with the following effects:
  • The Dimensional Anchoring Pylon is destroyed.
  • All deployable tiles are turned into Seedbeds.
  • Reduces Life Points by 30.

Trivia[edit]

  • Crazelyseon is likely a portmanteau of "craze", "lysis", and the suffix "-on", which would stand for "The Collapsing Madness". The name itself is pronounced "creslyson" as in "cresson".
  • Crazelyseon's description is likely a reference to the Eldrazi Titans from Magic: The Gathering, whose second printings have a flavor text in the similar format: "A(n) (noun) as (adjective) as (concept) itself."
    • Additionally, the epithet of Crazelyseon's name in Chinese can be translated as "the Ever-Reverberating" or "the Eternal Echo", using a similar formatting to the Eldrazi Titans' "the Ceaseless Hunger," "the Great Distortion," and "the Promised End."
