Second Form	Upon entering second form, gains the ability to immediately clear the SP of all Waste Heat Vents on the field. ATK and DEF increased, ASPD greatly increased. [Stroke of Thunder] Stuns the target and adjacent units, then attacks 6 times consecutively. If the target retreats or is defeated, the attacks will penetrate a certain distance and this skill will be refreshed.

Cliff lives up to his vaunted reputation with excellent mixed stats, particularly his massive defenses, and a variety of abilities designed to quickly suppress targets from range.

• Whenever he takes damage from a Waste Heat Vent, Cliff will have his ATK and DEF reduced by 70% for 1 second.
• Cliff's attacks, including those launched through Quickdraw/Stroke of Thunder (see below), reduce the target's DEF by 150 for 6 seconds, which can stack without a limit but each stack have their own timers.
• Quickdraw: Stuns the target and friendly units adjacent to them for 6 seconds, then attacks the target with three consecutive shots, during which Cliff cannot be shifted. Quickdraw will be used 15 seconds after Cliff spawns and every 30 seconds after.
• When Cliff's HP is reduced to 0 for the first time, he will survive and revive himself by fully restoring his HP over 20 seconds during which he is invulnerable and disabled. After he revives, all Waste Heat Vents will have their SP reduced to 0 (unless their skill is already active) and Cliff enters the second phase with the following properties:
  • Invulnerable for 10 seconds.
  • ATK, DEF, and ASPD increased by 20%, 1000, and 100, respectively.
  • Quickdraw is upgraded to Stroke of Thunder which has Cliff fire six consecutive shots instead of three and will be used 15 seconds after he enters the second phase. If Stroke of Thunder's target leaves the map amidst the attack, the ability's cooldown is refreshed and Cliff will dash 1.5 tiles ahead.

Addendum
Clearing CV-EX-8 after reducing Cliff's HP to 0 while he is being affected by Waste Heat Vents (not by damaging him with the Vents, contrary to what is stated in-game) on either of his phases will unlock the "Out of the Fire" medal, which can be trimmed if this is done on both of his phases.
