Kreide, "Worldly Remains"

From Arknights Terra Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Transformed into a monstrous being after succumbing to the accursed Voice of Terra and being possessed by the Witch King's consciousness, Kreide acts as the main boss of Lingering Echoes under the name Kreide, "Worldly Remains" (hence referred to as the Worldly Remains to distinguish it from Kreide).

Enemy description
Kreide's form, covered in layers of Originium, calls forth only fear in Leithanien. He stopped the Voice of Terra from consuming others, yet he himself was consumed in turn. He tried to save everyone present, yet there remains only one way to save him.

Overview

With massive HP and Arts attacks backed up by his high ATK, the Worldly Remains is a terrifying enemy to fight against. His abilities further spread his danger by allowing him to severely damage and debilitate entire groups of Operators at once.

  • The Worldly Remains' attacks deal area-of-effect damage with a radius of 0.8 tiles:
    • While not blocked, he uses a ranged Arts attack.
    • While blocked, he uses a melee Arts attack that also Stuns all targets hit for 6 seconds.
  • Resonance Overload: Takes control of Realigned Fluxes on the map for 10 seconds, during which they turn red and friendly units linked with the Fluxes (as well as the Worldly Remains himself if he happens to be on a Flux's path) receive Arts damage equal to 5% of the Worldly Remains' ATK every second. Resonance Overload has a cooldown of 10 seconds from when the Worldly Remains spawns and every 30 seconds after.
  • Lamentation of Nothingness: Enters a "berserk" state every 60 seconds for 5 seconds, telegraphed by the Worldly Remains raising his cello's bow upward for a moment, during which his attack interval is reduced to 0.5 seconds but he is immobilized, unable to use Resonance Overload, and instead of attacking, the Worldly Remains sequentially launch waves at friendly units anywhere on the map, cycling from closest the to the furthest from his position, with each wave dealing Arts damage equal to his ATK; if the Worldly Remains is on a Realigned Flux's path, his ASPD will be halved. After Lamentation of Nothingness ends, the Worldly Remains will slit his own wrist with his bow and loses 25% of his maximum HP; the HP loss cannot reduce his HP to 0 and will leave the Worldly Remains with at least 1 HP.
  • The Final Rest: The Worldly Remains spawns with a barrier that increases his DEF by 800 (1000 at Level 1) and RES by 50. When his HP is reduced to 0 for the first time, the Worldly Remains will survive and fully revive himself over 2.5 seconds during which he is invulnerable and disabled, and then become an allied unit for 40 seconds during which a large number of Blackwater Originium Slugs will be spawned. While being an ally, the Worldly Remains has the following properties:
    • Invulnerable, immobilized, and can neither use Resonance Overload nor Lamentation of Nothingness.
    • Attack interval reduced to 1 second, which increases by 0.1 in each attack (1.1 sec. on the second attack, 1.2 sec. on the third attack, 1.3 sec. on the fourth attack, etc.).
    • Attacks have a global range and larger AoE of 1 tile.
  • After The Final Rest expires, the Worldly Remains will enter the second phase and become an enemy again, losing the barrier but receiving the following properties:
    • Invulnerable for 5 seconds.
    • ATK increased by 25%.
    • Attack range and AoE extended to 3.2 and 1.2 tiles, respectively.
    • Lamentation of Nothingness now reduces the Worldly Remains' attack interval to 0.35 seconds.
