Traits
  • Attacks inflict additional Nervous Impairment
  • Has high DEF and RES, but those can be reduced by healing <Absorbers> to full HP
  • Spits out filth at set intervals, placing an <Absorber> in the Deployment Waiting Zone and attacking several operators on the field; number of operators attacked increases according to Danger Level
  • After losing a certain percentage of HP, immediately Stuns multiple Operators on the field and creates a Barrier equal to the HP lost; if the Barrier is not destroyed before it expires, the Barrier shatters and inflicts a large amount of Nervous Impairment to all Operators on the field
  • When it creates a Barrier for the second time and thereafter, it will stun more Operators if the previous Barrier was not destroyed; this effect can stack up to a number of times, and resets when a Barrier is destroyed

The Thirster is a boss enemy in the Stationary Security Service game mode of Arknights. It is the main boss of The Abandoned Lighthouse.

Enemy description
It once bore an Iberian name, until it tossed that name into the sea and disappeared into the abyss. However, embracing the seawater was not enough to moisten its parched throat, and the clear red liquid flowing within its veins is equally enticing, so it has returned to dry land once more, thirstier than ever.

Overview

An Iberian of unknown background who transformed into a malformed, bloodthirsty Sea Terror which explains the disappearance of people visiting the abandoned lighthouse, the Thirster has very high HP and DEF, and most notably, a titanic 95(!) RES that makes it very difficult to take down especially with Arts damage, although its ATK is lower in turn. In addition, it has multiple abilities that can debilitate an entire squad, but can be counteracted with strong healing power.

Attacks inflict Nervous Impairment equal to 20% ATK.
Passive
Adds an Absorber.png Absorber into the Deployment Waiting Zone and launches filthy debris at two friendly units after 3 seconds, each dealing Arts damage and inflicting Nervous Impairment equal to 100% and 50% ATK, respectively. From Danger Level 12, this ability targets three units; from Danger Level 15, this ability targets four units.
40 seconds
Reduces DEF and RES by 100 and 5, respectively, whenever an Absorber despawns after being fully healed.
Passive
Whenever 15% of maximum HP is lost, Stuns three friendly units on the map for 8 seconds, then stops moving and obtains a Barrier that absorbs damage equal to the missing HP for 20 seconds; if the Barrier is not destroyed in this period, inflicts 1000 Nervous Impairment to all friendly units.
  • This ability Stuns one additional unit in each subsequent use, up to six and will be reset when the Barrier is destroyed.
