The Spherical Colossus is a boss enemy in the Stationary Security Service game mode of Arknights. It is the main boss of Toron Mine.

Enemy description
An Originium Arts construct made from mining waste, originally created to maximize the value of the mines. However, this colossus seems to have realized its own origins, and refused to take part in any mining activities before finally turning against the very people who created it. It has raided many mines, and people fearfully call it the "Mine Killing Mine."

Overview

An Originium mining Arts Creation who went rogue after developing an unusual sympathy with the Originium ores it was supposed to mine, the Spherical Colossus offsets its extremely slow speed and attack interval with its monumental offensive and defensive stats, along with several abilities for disabling Operators.

  • The Spherical Colossus is surrounded by a storm of rocky debris that deals Arts damage equal to 1% of its ATK every second to friendly units in a radius of 1.2 tiles around it.
  • As long as the Spherical Colossus is present:
    • Targets the deployed friendly unit with the highest ATK and attaches a Crude Sphere to them every 52 seconds from when the Colossus spawns, but it will never target friendlies who already has a Crude Sphere attached.
    • Randomly selects an Operator in the Deployment Waiting Zone every 80 seconds and causes them to have a Crude Sphere attached onto when deployed, in which case they are marked with a brown eye-like icon. The marks will disappear when the Colossus is defeated.
