"Boy Wonder" Sandel

"Boy Wonder" Sandel is a boss enemy in the Stationary Security Service game mode of Arknights. He is the main boss of Under-Construction Dossoles Plate.

Enemy description
An old underground boxer from Rim Billiton, nicknamed from his debut fight as a youth, where he defeated an older champion hungry for competition. Many years later, he lost to someone even younger than him, and left for the wilderness in anger. Relying on his cunning and life experiences over the years, he became a boxing fixer in the wilderness, and even had the beautiful dream of snatching some land in a nomadic city to build a underground boxing arena, but he had no idea that the key to success or failure was never in his hands to begin with.


The organizer of the barrenlands boxing competition. When blocked, takes reduced damage from all units other than the blocker. Returns to the ring when defeated.

An old Rim Billitonian underground boxer with remarkable performance, Sandel lives up to his now-outdated "Boy Wonder" title by boasting significant HP, ATK, and DEF, although he has somewhat lacking RES and are vulnerable to Stun and Freeze. He further compounds his strengths with his special abilities, including having to be knocked out no less than three separate times.

  • Has an aggression level of -1, which is not stated in-game.
  • When blocked, the damage Sandel took from friendly units that are not blocking him are halved.
  • When he is defeated, Sandel will count down a certain times before leaving the map on his first two defeats, returning on the next wave with a certain percentage of his HP before entering a "warm-up" state where he is invulnerable, disabled, and regenerates 0.5% of his maximum HP every second. Once he fully restores his HP this way, Sandel enters a new "round" with increasing ASPD in every subsequent defeat; note that every time he enters a new round, his HP bar changes to represent an increasing percentage of his maximum HP, thus Sandel gets KO'd when his HP falls below a certain percentage, as shown below.
    • At round 1 (>60% HP), Sandel counts down to 2 upon defeat before leaving the map.
    • At round 2 (60%–35% HP), Sandel returns with 60% HP, has his ASPD increased by 75 but damage reduction decreased to 35%, and counts down to 6 upon defeat before leaving the map.
    • At round 3 (<35% HP), Sandel returns with 35% HP, has his ASPD increased by 150, and counts down to 10 upon defeat before being defeated for good.
