Enemy description
Using the self as fuel and hatred as tinder, the flame of fury is inextinguishable.

Overview

A gigantic Revenant of Sarkaz souls that embodies their undying rage towards Terra, although the Cinderbringer Revenant takes up an area of 4×5 tiles and boasts enormously high stats, players are encouraged to interact with its unique stage gimmick to bring it down rather than attack head on.

  • The Cinderbringer Revenant is initially not present on the map itself, instead manipulating the environment to fight in its stead.
    • Soul Stirring: Removes the invulnerability of one of the active Core Amplifiers on the field before causing all Torrent Beam Emitters to fire red beams to their left, which deal 150 Arts damage per second (200 at Level 1) to the first target hit. The Torrent Beam Emitters will only stop firing once the vulnerable Core Amplifier has been disabled by depleting its HP. Soul Stirring will be used immediately when the Cinderbringer Revenant spawns (after 80 seconds at Level 1), then 90/80/60 seconds after the first/second/third Soul Stirring ends (60/60/40 seconds at Level 1).
      • The fourth and subsequent Soul Stirrings will have their damage per tick increased by 100.
      • If a Soul Vortex comes into contact with a Core Amplifier, it will be absorbed to increase the damage per tick of the next Soul Stirring by 20, stacking infinitely. If a Soul Stirring is ongoing, it will increase the damage of the current one instead.
    • Each time a Core Amplifier is destroyed, a wave of enemies will spawn, which are not included in the enemy counter of the operation.
    • If the Core Amplifiers have not been defeated in 500 seconds (400 at level 1), the Cinderbringer Revenant will reduce the Life Points to 0, resulting in an instant mission failure!
  • Once all Core Amplifiers have been disabled, the Cinderbringer Revenant will reveal itself and enter the second phase, gaining the following properties:
    • All Core Amplifiers fully restore their HP and can now be attacked by friendly units, but do not take damage.
    • Soul Surge: Immediately fires five continous red lasers to its right with an "energy level" of 1, each dealing 125 Arts damage per second to all friendlies struck, increased by 25 for each energy level the Cinderbringer Revenant has (up to 400); every subsequent Soul Surge will instead increase the Cinderbringer Revenant's energy level by 1. To counteract the beams, friendlies must attack the Core Amplifiers to charge their skills which, when activated, cause the Torrent Beam Emitters to fire golden beams that only harm enemy units and will "push back" against the Revenant's own beams. Each skill activation increases the energy level of the Torrent Beam Emitters by 1; every time the Emitters or the Revenant increases their own energy level, their beams will push the opposing beams back 1 tile. The main way to harm the Revenant in this phase is to defeat the Revenant in a "beam struggle" and damage it with the Torrent Beam Emitters.
      • Soul Surge will be used 12 seconds after the lasers are first fired and every 15 seconds after (8 seconds and 12 seconds respectively at Level 1); one Soul Surge will also be used immediately whenever the Cinderbringer Revenant loses 40% of its HP (25% at Level 1), independent of the ability's cooldown.
      • There is a 1.8 second cooldown between Core Amplifiers' skill activations.
      • The Torrent Beam Emitters' beams use the same damage calculation as the beams from Soul Surge, but deal True damage with an additional 100× modifier against the Cinderbringer Revenant.
    • If 200 seconds (350 at Level 1) pass in the second phase and the Cinderbringer Revenant has not been defeated, it will deal Arts damage equal to its ATK to all friendly units before reducing the LP to 0, resulting in an instant mission failure!
