Transformed into an angelic Seaborn, Highmore acts as one of the four possible final bosses of Mizuki & Caerula Arbor under the name "Paranoia Illusion".

The Illusion complements its very strong RES with high HP and DEF, although it is notably vulnerable to Stun, Freeze and being put to Sleep. To offset its rather average ATK, the Illusion has the following abilities which can severely mitigate friendly units' offense while dishing out multi-target attacks in return:

  • The Illusion has Low-Altitude Hovering; in the event it is Stunned, Frozen, or put to Sleep for the first time, the Illusion will lose the Low-Altitude Hovering and are Stunned for 0.5 seconds.
  • The Illusion's attacks can hit up to three targets within range (which is shown as a watery ring around it) at once and inflict Corrosion Damage equal to 60% of its ATK. If there are less than three targets, it can attack the same target multiple times (e.g. if 2 targets are in range, it will attack one of them once and the other twice; if only one is in range, it will attack them thrice).
  • Friendly units within the Illusion's attack range have their ASPD reduced by a massive 60.
  • When its HP reaches 0 for the first time, the Illusion will survive and revives itself by fully restoring its HP over 20 seconds, during which it is invulnerable and disabled but the ASPD debuff aura remains active. Once revived, the Illusion will enter the second phase, gaining the following properties:
    • If its Low-Altitude Hovering is lost in the first phase, the Illusion regains it upon entering the second phase.
    • Attack range increased to 3.5 tiles; the watery ring also expands accordingly.
    • The ASPD debuff is increased to a grand 80.
    • Attacks can now hit up to five targets; the same rules if there are not enough targets still apply (see above).

The Illusion will deduct no less than 30 Life Points if it manages to enter a Protection Objective, which will cause the player to instantly fail the run unless they have at least 31 Life Points.png when this happens!
