• Her English codename is actually the transliteration of her Chinese codename, meaning "sea foam." This likely alludes to the Little Mermaid in Andersen's fairy tale whose death would turn her into sea foam.
• Highmore has the trait of corals, specifically the violescent sea-whip (Paramuricea clavata). This makes her the third Aegir based on cnidarians after Mizuki and Whisperain, and the first Operator based on sessile (i.e. immobile) animals.
• In Highmore's The Land With Me outfit, the scythe and the drapes in the background seem to depict mountainous scenery in the blue-green shan shui painting style (Hanzi: 青绿山水). The same motif is present in Shu's artwork.
