Crystalline Titanibeast

The Crystalline Oberobeast is a boss enemy in the Reclamation Algorithm game mode of Arknights. It is one of the "superbosses" that can be fought in Tales Within the Sand.

Enemy description
An unusual lifeform that appears in crystal caves. It resembles a metal crab with sharper pincers, allowing it to easily tear its prey apart. Forever foes with Crystalline Titanibeasts.

Overview[edit]

The Crystalline Oberobeast has monumentally high HP and DEF along with high ATK, although its RES is lacking. It also has the following abilities to make it more dangerous.

Ability Initial CD Cooldown

  • Goes after a friendly unit that the Crystalline Oberobeast could attack within a radius of 1.5, prioritizing the unit with the highest aggression level.
  • Does not attack until blocked or taking damage in the last 20 seconds.⁎
  • Attacks hit twice and reduces the target's DEF by 100 (applied before each hit, stacks).

 Innate

Gains the following traits for 4 seconds if there are no valid units within the Crystalline Oberobeast's tracking radius while it could attack (see above):
  • MSPD increased to 300%.
  • Moves toward a random ground tile within a distance of 5 every second.

When coming close enough to the Crystalline Titanibeast, the Crystalline Oberobeast will instantly defeat it.

When HP falls below 50% or after defeating the Crystalline Titanibeast, attacks now hit four times.

 Once per operation

Gains 80 Shields (does not stack).
Only used after defeating the Crystalline Titanibeast.
 120 sec.

Trivia[edit]

  • The "Oberobeast" part of the name is a reference to Oberon, the king of fairies in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
    • Its relationship with the Crystalline Titanibeast is a reference to Oberon being the husband of Titania (whom the Titanibeast is named after).
