An "ascended" Patriot in an alternate timeline where all Sarkaz had became Sankta is one of the possible final bosses of Sarkaz's Furnaceside Fables under the name Buldrokkas'tee, Paladin Gun-Knight.

Enemy description
The paladin gun-knight defending the Civitas Sancta. He believes in order, and is willing to serve for peace under the Law's domination, yet never gives up the questions in his heart. In the future, he will become the true "Patriot" of Kazdel.

Overview

The OTL Patriot is already difficult enough despite no longer in his prime, but what happened if he ever ascended to become a Sankta and wasn't plagued by his late-stage Oripathy? The answer is the ATL Buldrokkas'tee, who boasts monumental stats far surpassing his original self, with titanic offense and defense that allow him to bulldoze everything in his path, along with several abilities to further enhance his legendary destructive and defensive prowess.

  • Buldrokkas'tee initially uses a melee attack.
  • Rite of Exhortation: Buldrokkas'tee has an aggression level of 1 and as long as he is present, retreated Operators will have their redeployment time doubled with the following message appearing as a reminder (unofficial translation):
A warrior should regard death as a homecoming.
  • Guarding Rite of the Holy City: Buldrokkas'tee takes 80% less Physical and Arts damage from any attacks coming from at least 2 away from him, with the range roughly designated by a golden ring around him. If the damage is independent from the source, the reduction will be applied by default.
  • Any unit damaged by Buldrokkas'tee will gain a permanent effect which increases their ATK by 30% but amplifies the damage they take by 50%.
  • Automated Rite of Self-Defense: Summons a Paladin Automaton that is excluded from the enemy counter, with a cooldown of 20 seconds after Buldrokkas'tee spawns and every 25 seconds after.
  • When Buldrokkas'tee's HP is reduced to 0 for the first time, he will survive and revive himself by fully restoring his HP over 10 seconds, during which he is invulnerable and disabled. Afterwards, Buldrokkas'tee enters the second phase with the following properties:
    • Invulnerable for 15 seconds.
    • Now use ranged attacks when not blocked, and all attacks now deal area-of-effect damage with a radius of 1.1 tiles.
    • Automated Rite of Guiding: When entering the second phase, immediately summons several Scutums at specific locations on the map which can temporarily protect friendly units but will be destroyed upon colliding with Paladin Automata, which will also trigger their explosions.
    • Rite of Strafing: Locks on to all ranged tiles before opening fire on them, sweeping the map in a clockwise fashion and dealing Physical damage equal to half his ATK towards the locked targets. Rite of Strafing will be used immediately after Buldrokkas'tee enters the second phase and every 30 seconds after.
  • If Buldrokkas'tee's HP is reduced to 0 a second time and the player's Thoughts has not exceeded the Burden Threshold, he will be defeated. Otherwise, Buldrokkas'tee will enter the third phase where he regenerates 50% of his HP over 10 seconds, during which he is invulnerable and disabled. Afterwards, Buldrokkas'tee will re-enter his second phase (including using Automated Rite of Guiding, which will refresh any Scutums if they still present), albeit with his ATK increased by 25% and summoning three Gates around him that are excluded from the enemy counter.

Buldrokkas'tee will deduct no less than 30 Life Points if he manages to enter a Protection Objective, which will cause the player to instantly fail the run unless they have at least 31 Life Points.png when this happens!
