The Paladin Automaton is a normal enemy in the Integrated Strategies game mode of Arknights.
Overview
Autonomous machines built to protect the "Civitas Sancta" in a timeline where all Teekaz accepted the Law, Paladin Automata have above-average HP and decent DEF, although their nonexistent RES makes them vulnerable to Arts. However, they do not attack normally and cannot be blocked, instead attempting to accelerate themselves at a rate of +50% every 0.5 seconds, up to a maximum of +1400% MSPD, allowing them to simply rush past defenders if not defeated quickly or impaired to slow them down. However, Paladin Automata will not be able to accelerate for the first 3 seconds after spawning.
Paladin Automata uniquely do not deduct Life Points when entering a Protection Objective, but will instead explode to deal Physical damage equal to their ATK to all units (both friendly and enemy), encouraging players to stop them from leaking regardless as the highly damaging explosion can cause severe party-wide damage. This same explosion will occur if a Paladin Automaton comes into contact with a Scutum (which also instantly defeats both of them).
