An extension of the broodmother's body, identical to newly-born offspring.

A false offspring of the Retching Broodmother thrown at would-be predators to protect their true offspring, Baleful Broodlings are always spawned on top of the Broodmother's attack target, taking up their block count while inflicting additional Corrosion Damage buildup on hit equal to 60% of their ATK. However, unable to survive for long apart from the Broodmother, not only are they rather fragile, but Broodlings will also lose 100 HP per second.
