The Originiutant Tumor is a normal enemy in Arknights.

Enemy description

A twisted organism born under the combined effects of radiation mutation and Originium infection. The malign tumors on these organisms' bodies still contain a large amount of hazardous substances.

Originiutant Tumors are the upgraded version of Originiutant Excrescences with increased stats and released/spawned by Mutant Sand Beasts α, Mutant Rock Spider α, and Mutant Giant Rock Spiders α in addition to the Essence of Evolution, and reducing the ASPD of the friendly unit blocking them by 80% (which does not stack if a unit is blocking multiple Tumors).

Originiutant Tumors can be problematic due to their heavy ASPD debuff which deprives the Operator of timely retaliation. In addition, the Tumors (and their Originiutant Excrescence brethren) often spawn en masse, which will quickly overwhelm just about any melee Operators, fully occupy the block count of that Operator, and more often than not, may result in multiple leaks in the worst case. The best way to counter Originiutant Tumors is by using ranged Operators in conjunction with melee Operators, preferably Defenders, and including Lord or Instructor Guards which have an extended range.
