The Automatic Maintenance Drone is a normal enemy in Arknights.

Enemy description

An old Iberian automatic maintenance drone. For some reason, it is still operational and will repair facilities.

Overview

An antique Iberian autonomous drone responsible for maintaining Aegir-built facilities that remains operational even after decades since the Silence, Automatic Maintenance Drones will tend to Emergency Aid Buildings when they are within the adjacent tiles of one, improving its ability to remove Nervous Impairment on friendly units or activating it with improved Nervous Impairment removal rate otherwise. In some operations where Emergency Aid Buildings are present, the adjacent tiles to one are undeployable, making Automatic Maintenance Drones the only way to activate them.

Unlike other enemies (but akin to allied units), Automatic Maintenance Drones will not cause Life Point loss when entering a Protection Objective. This is likely done to facilitate the conditions of certain Under Tides medals which requires the player to not activate Emergency Aid Buildings.
