The Seed of Withering is a normal enemy in Arknights.

Originium Arts creation of the Nachzehrer King. Mindless except for an obsession with self-destruction. They create death for others to feed upon.

Overview

A bizarre entity created through Nezzsalem the Nachzehrer King's Arts for spreading more death on the battlefield, Seeds of Withering are among some of the weakest aerial enemy due to their meager HP (only slightly higher than Monsters) and having no defenses, but makes up for it with its high ATK and appearing in large numbers especially when spawned by Withering Collector Disciples. The Seed's true danger lies within the ability to launch itself to a friendly unit within its attack range, dealing Physical damage equal to the Seed's ATK to the target and destroys it in the process.

Seeds of Withering's high ATK and the fact they always appear in a large quantity means they can potentially swiftly dispatch friendly units, especially those with low HP and/or DEF. However, since the Seeds destroy themselves upon attacking, luring them with Executor Specialists is a sound strategy.
