Trivia[edit]
- The Chinese name literally means "(to) show (a) dagger" and might be derived from the Chinese idiom 图穷匕见 , which is synonymous to the English idiom "(having) an axe to grind".
- The Japanese name means "sickle-shaped neck" or "crooked neck".
- The Stabby might be based on Qinchong (琴虫), a snake-like monster that has a head of a beast or bug,[1] or Bashe (巴蛇), a giant black snake that could devour an elephant and digest it for three years,[2] as described in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.[3][4]
