The Infused Originium Slug is a normal enemy in Arknights.

Enemy description

An infected wild creature that has become unstable due to assimilating a large amount of Originium into its abdomen, exploding upon death. Due to their low intelligence, they are easily controlled by enemy casters for use as cannon fodder during invasions.

Infused Originium Slugs are a "subspecies" of Originium Slugs whose body will destabilize upon being defeated, resulting in an explosion (unless if they are being Silenced at the moment) that deals Physical damage equal to 4× of its ATK to friendly units (and only friendly units) in the surrounding tiles. Therefore, care should be taken before defeating Infused Originium Slugs, since their explosion are strong enough to heavily damage all but the sturdiest Operators, whether they are on melee or ranged tiles, if not outright knocking them out.
