The Bloodborn Spawn is a normal enemy in Arknights.

Enemy description
A creation of the Sanguine Court's Originium Arts. It is said that just a few drops of fresh blood can spawn an entire swarm of these mindless worms. Once they've latched on, they will never let go until their hunger and thirst have been satisfied.

A leech-like Arts Creation (although not classified as such in-game) created from the blood of those "blessed" by the Sanguinarch's blood which can resurrect itself indefinitely, Bloodborn Spawns function similar to Bloodthirsty Heirs (including their Arts attacks that heal themselves for 2.2× the damage dealt), but have slightly higher stats in exchange for a slower movement and attack speed, as well as dealing 20% more damage for every enemy their target is blocking.

Bloodborn Spawns will leave behind a Blood Amber when defeated and will also spawn from Blood Ambers "revived" by a Bloodcalling Altar, allowing them to swarm en masse and overwhelm defenses if left unchecked. On top of that, they have a ranged attack that is only used against Anti-Witchcraft Repositionable Bombs from a range of 1 tile, making it harder to destroy said Altars if enough Bloodborn Spawns are swarming the area.
