Rosmontis is also a boss enemy in Vector Breakthrough as a simulation created from her combat data at the fullest potential under the name "Rosmontis", Grasp of Aether.

Enemy description
A Breakthrough Trainer created based on Rosmontis' maximal combat ability.
Looking at the "humanoid weapon" that has materialized from data, the girl's memory is no longer constrained. Now, she wants to stand with all of us as one, and she has become braver.

Overview

Even as a simulation, Rhodes Island's Annihilation Specialist is a formidable foe with towering HP and ATK along with solid mixed defenses, in addition to having a large repertoire of dangerous abilities that only grow more numerous and powerful as the player advances through the stages of Vector Breakthrough.

First Form
Initially in the First Form with the following traits:
  • Cannot be shifted.
  • Uses a melee Physical attack.
Innate
Emotion Field
Reduces Physical and Arts damage taken by 60% (indicated by Rosmontis being armed with her Tactical Equipment). When a Vector Tactical Equipment is destroyed, all others on the map will self-destruct and Rosmontis is disarmed and Emotion Field is disabled until she recovers the Equipment.
Passive
Projection
Launches a Tactical Equipment at a friendly unit, dealing three instances of Physical damage equal to 100%/50%/50% ATK and spawning a Vector Tactical Equipment on their position. If the target is Stunned when taking the first hit, they are instantly defeated.

Only used in the First Form and the cooldown only progresses while Emotion Field is active.

Capture
Recalls all Vector Tactical Equipment on the map, clears all forcefields left behind from destroyed Equipment, and reactivates Emotion Field.

The cooldown only progresses while Emotion Field is disabled.
25 seconds
Impulse Inhibition
Revives over 28 seconds when defeated in the First Form, during which Rosmontis releases a pulse every 5 seconds dealing 1000 Arts damage (1500 if Impulse Inhibition was triggered while Emotion Field is disabled, or always at Level 2) to nearby friendly units within a radius of 3.1.
Second Form
Enters the Second Form after being revived through Impulse Inhibition, gaining the following traits:
  • Invulnerable for 15 seconds.
  • Immediately recovers all Tactical Equipment and reactivates Emotion Field.

Only used at Levels 1 and 2.
Innate
Amplified Projection
Launches a Tactical Equipment a friendly unit, dealing three instances of Physical damage equal to 100%/50%/50% ATK and spawning a Vector Tactical Equipment on the location. If the target is Stunned when taking the first hit, they are instantly defeated. 4 seconds after the first Equipment lands, Rosmontis repeats the attack a second time.
  • If the target leaves the map before the second Equipment is launched, Rosmontis will target another unit.
  • Rosmontis is immobilized and does not attack while using Amplified Projection, which can be interrupted.

Only used in the Second Form and the cooldown only progresses while Emotion Field is active.

Amnesia
When using a normal attack, release a pulse dealing Arts damage equal to 20% ATK to nearby friendly units within a radius of 3 and loses 1500 HP (750 at Level 2).

Only used in the Second Form.
Passive
Cognition Collapse
Becomes enraged when HP falls below 50% in the Second Form, gaining the following traits:
  • Invulnerable for 15 seconds.
  • Recovers all Tactical Equipment and reactivates Emotion Field.
  • Loses Amplified Projection and Capture.
  • Activates all supply piles left behind by defeated "Rosmontis's" Drones.
  • ATK increased by 50%.
  • Gains Low-Altitude Hovering.
  • Now uses ranged attacks that Stun the target for 15 seconds.
  • Emotion Field can no longer be disabled and its damage reduction is increased to 90%.
  • Deals 500 True damage to nearby friendly units within a radius 1.7 whenever Rosmontis takes damage, which can only be triggered once every 0.8 seconds.
  • Amnesia has its damage increased to 30% ATK but the HP loss is increased to 1500.

Only used at Level 2.

  • Level 0 stats are used in VEC-03.
  • Level 1 stats are used in VEC-05.
  • Level 2 stats are used in VEC-08.

Trivia

  • The enemy version of Rosmontis is seen by the community as a part of a satirical joke in which she angrily "punishes" players who favor Wiš'adel as her vindication due to her disadvantages in her Operator version that was surpassed by Wiš'adel's "power-creeping" skillsets such as her incapability to attack aerial enemies.
    • Despite this, Wiš'adel is capable of clearing VEC-03 and VEC-05 alone.
