Zubaydah, One From the Past is a boss enemy in Arknights. He is the main boss of Inudi Harek, Horakhet.

Story

Overview

Although Zubaydah's enormous HP and powerful Arts attacks initially appear to be offset by his unusually lacking defenses, he circumvents them through multiple abilities that can create and use Crystals to bolster his defense and debilitate Operators.

Reduces Physical and Arts damage taken by 70% while on a Crystal (indicated by a crystalline barrier surrounding Zubaydah).
Passive
Crystal Focus
Targets three friendly units for 5 seconds before launching energy blasts at them, dealing Arts damage equal to 50% (Lv0)/80% (Lv1) ATK to the targets and friendlies in the adjacent four tiles, and creates Crystals on the affected tiles.
Only used in the first phase.
20 seconds
Crystal Overload
Charges up for 3 seconds before firing beams in the four cardinal directions, dealing Arts damage equal to 100% (Lv0)/120% (Lv1) ATK to friendly units struck and creating Crystals on the tiles in the beams' path.
Only used in the first phase.
6 sec. 40 sec.
Revives over 10 seconds when HP reaches 0 for the first time, after which Zubaydah enters the second phase with the following traits:
  • Spawn Crystals on nearby low ground tiles immediately after entering the second phase (radius 2 tiles).
  • HP, ATK, and DEF increased by 25%.
Innate
Complete Defense
Absorbs energy from up to 15 Crystals on the map over 5 seconds, then gains a barrier that absorbs Physical and Arts damage equal to 50% of Zubaydah's maximum HP; the damage absorption is further increased by 10% max. HP for every Crystal absorbed when Zubaydah finished channeling and the barrier lasts for 40 seconds.
Only used in the second phase.

Defective Focus
Absorbs energy from up to 15 Crystals on the map over 10 seconds, then launches an attack on up to three friendly units, dealing Arts damage equal to 90% (Lv0)/120% (Lv1) ATK to targets and friendlies in the adjacent tiles; the damage dealt is further increased by 4% (Lv0)/6% (Lv1) ATK for every Crystal absorbed when Zubaydah finished channeling.
Only used in the second phase.
