The Crystal is a hidden normal enemy in Arknights that provides the namesake operation mechanic introduced in Adventure That Cannot Wait for the Sun.

Overview[edit]

  • All damage taken is reduced to 2.?
  • Friendly units on the same tile as the Crystal have -60 ASPD.
  • Enemies on the same tile as the Crystal have +10% HP and ATK, and additional traits (see Interactions).
  • Enters the purified state with fully restored HP when taking damage that is equal to the remaining HP or exceeds it.
Polluted traits

Purified
  • Takes no damage when attacked, instead causing all polluted Crystals connected to the purified Crystal to take 1 damage.
  • Will be automatically defeated if there are no polluted Crystals connected to the purified Crystal.

Interactions[edit]

Pure Crystals spawns a Crystal on the purified state which can be used to connect separate clusters of Crystals, while the Decrystallizing Totem can be used to remove Crystals regardless of their state.

Has +2000 HP and +100 ATK for every 5 Crystals on the map, stacking up to 8 times.

Zubayidamu the Timeless
  • Takes -70% Physical and Arts damage while on a Crystal.
  • His Crystalline Focus and Crystal Overload spawns a Crystal on the affected tiles.
  • Spawns Crystals on tiles within a radius of 2 when entering the Second Form.
  • His Total Defense drains energy from up to 15 Crystals on the map to give him a Barrier that absorbs damage which increases for every drained Crystal.
  • His Dead Spot Focus drains energy from up to 15 Crystals on the map to strike up to three friendly units on the map, dealing Arts damage that increases for every drained Crystal.
