Crystal is an operation mechanic in Arknights, featured in Inudi Harek, Horakhet.

Overview

Crystals are actually treated as an enemy unit that neither does move nor attack, can neither be blocked nor shifted, immune to Elemental Damage and Cold, has an aggression level of -1.

Crystals are initially found in the polluted state which reduces the ASPD of friendly units on the same tile as it by 60 and increases the HP and ATK of enemies by 10%, in addition to giving them additional traits (see Interactions). The Crystal can be purified by attacking it; while it has a mere 20 HP, any damage it took is reduced to 2, and it cannot be defeated even when it has 0 HP; should it takes any further damage at this point, the Crystal will be purified and shatters.

If there are clusters of polluted Crystals, should any of them is purified, others in the adjacent tiles will be purified as well, which can form a chain reaction. Purecrystals can be used to connect separate clusters of Crystals, while Decrystaling Pile can be used to clear out Crystals in its path, whether polluted or purified.

Drains energy from Crystals in a radius of 1.5 tiles to give all enemies within the same radius (including self) a Barrier that absorbs 2000 damage and 500 for every Crystal absorbed this way (takes 2 second to cast, 5/15 seconds cooldown).

Attacks have a global range while on a Crystal.
Muwa, Passionate Tester
  • His first five attacks spawn a Crystal on the tile the target is on (unless if one is present already).
  • Has +2000 HP and +100 ATK for every Crystal on the map, up to 40.
Zubaydah, One From the Past
  • Takes -70% Physical and Arts damage while on a Crystal.
  • His Crystal Focus and Crystal Overload spawns a Crystal on the affected tiles.
  • Spawns Crystals on tiles within a radius of 2 tiles when entering the second phase.
  • His Complete Defense drains energy from up to 15 Crystals on the map to give him a Barrier that absorbs damage equal to 50% HP and 10% for every Crystal absorbed this way.
  • His Defective Focus drains energy from up to 15 Crystals on the map to strike up to three friendly units on the map, dealing Arts damage equal to 90% (120% at Level 1) ATK which further increases by 4% (6% at Level 1) for every Crystal absorbed this way.
