Burning Breath is a Negative Status (although not acknowledged as such in-game) in Arknights.

Effect

A unit being inflicted with Burning Breath is indicated by a flaming circle on them. In this state, the unit will receive True damage every second, which gradually increases the longer they are affected by Burning Breath, up to a limit. The stacking damage is reset when Burning Breath expires, which takes ~30 seconds.

Against enemies

All instances of Burning Breath on enemy units deal 200 damage on the first tick and +10 on every subsequent tick (210 on the second, 220 on the third, 230 on the fourth, etc.), up to a maximum of 400 (from the 21st tick onwards).

Burning Breath (range 1.5 tiles, 20 seconds cooldown) Will not target enemies already affected by Burning Breath.

Against friendlies

All instances of Burning Breath on friendly units deal 50 damage on the first tick and +6 on every subsequent tick (56 on the second, 62 on the third, 68 on the fourth, etc.), up to a maximum of 230 (from the 31st tick onwards).

  • The cooldown is reduced to 7 seconds when Talulah is enraged.

Burning Breath detonation (units adjacent to those with Burning Breath, 35 seconds cooldown) Removes Burning Breath on the primary target and inflicts it on the secondary targets.

The fireballs released by Energy Aggregates inflict Burning Breath to the first friendly unit it comes in contact with.
