- Not to be confused with Invisibility.

Visibility, also known as Nightfall, is an operation mechanic in Arknights, introduced in Near Light.
Overview[edit]
Being set during nighttime and amidst a blackout in Kawalerielki for some, all tiles in operations with the Visibility mechanic are without visibility, which prevent friendly units from being deployed and make enemy units invisible.
The following methods provide visibility to select tiles, allowing friendlies to be deployed and revealing enemies:
- Deploying an Operator close to tiles without visibility, which provides visibility to their frontal and side tiles; this is extended to a radius of 3×3 tiles in front of the Operator after 8 seconds have passed from when they are deployed. The visibility will be lost when the Operator leaves the map.
- Note that summons and Dollkeeper Specialists' Substitutes do not provide visibility as Operators do!
- City Neons provide visibility to the adjacent tiles, which is permanently increased to a radius of 2 tiles once activated.
- Deploying Knight Crests permanently provides visibility on where they are deployed.
