Near Light is the eleventh Side Story and second Celebration event in Arknights, and the third event in the Under the Neon story arc.

Headhunting[edit]

The fourth Celebration limited headhunting banner, Path of the Radiant, is featured.
- Path of the Radiant also adds Rosmontis into the Celebration limited Operators' pool.
- A single
Flaming Radiance Headhunting Permit can be claimed once while the Path of the Radiant banner is up. - Every day, the player can perform one headhunting pull for free at the Path of the Radiant banner. These free pulls do not transfer over to the next day, so they must be used before the daily reset.
- Note: Nearl the Radiant Knight will be added into the Celebration limited Operators' pool on Il Siracusano.

Prestige[edit]
The Prestige system allows the player to unlock Information Port content and some City Neon operations by completing missions for three Kazimierz factions with various representatives:

Information Port[edit]
The Information Port, or Info Port for short, features a day-by-day timeline of the events and allows the player to unlock extra content divided into the following:
- Souvenir of Knight: A gallery of NL artworks.
- Sound of Alley: A jukebox of NL soundtracks.
- Hibiscus' Diary
- Voice of Rosebud
- Epilogues
Info Port contents are unlocked by completing Your Desk missions and raising the player's Prestige with the Kazimierzian factions.

Furnitures[edit]
- The Kazimierz Broadcast Center furniture theme is available; some of its parts are awarded from completing the Your Desk missions while others are available in the Trade Exhibition and Furniture Store.
- The Avant-Garde Arcade Hall theme now replaces Walter Interior Sensations as the lucky drop in most operations, which is now available in the Furniture Store.

Popping Valley Mining Area[edit]
From April 28, 2022 to May 12, 2022, the player will receive one mining operation every day, which can be used to receive 
Orundum from three different types of Originium deposits in the Popping Valley Mining Area, selected at random in each use:

- The amount of Orundum received will only be shown after the mining operation is completed.
- If the mining operation does not reach an Originium Vein, subsequent operations are more likely to reach it. If an Originium Vein was not reached by May 3, May 8, and May 12, then the mining operation on the respective days are guaranteed to reach an Originium Vein.
- Unused mining operations do not transfer over to the next day, so they must be used before the daily reset.
Community event[edit]
In the lead-up to the release of Near Light in the Global server, a community event named The Kazimierz Major Warm-Up is featured. Players just need to log in, claim the given rewards every day, and then share the page to claim 100 . Fulfiling the given task will be rewarded a special-themed furniture piece.

Trivia[edit]
- The Area 0 operations are connected together in a way that they form what looks like an italic, flipped letter "N".
- The medals in the PV of the event is arranged to resemble a spearhead.
- Near Light is the first event whose tracklist can be found and heard in-game at will, although this is only available during the event and the rerun.
- Near Light is currently the second longest Side Story just before Zwillingstürme im Herbst and the fourth longest content of all the stories.
- The English texts, not including the Epilogues, consist of ~64,000 words.
- The Chinese texts consist of a sheer 140,843 words.
- The Japanese and Korean texts consist of a massive ~206,000 and ~195,000 words, respectively.
