Break the Ice is the twelfth Side Story in Arknights.
A Japanese drama CD adaptation of Break the Ice is announced to be released in the future on the JP server's 4.5th anniversary livestream.

Trivia
- The English title has two symbolic meanings. One is the English idiom meaning "to do or say something to relieve tension or get conversation going in a strained situation or when strangers meet," a reference of Kjerag breaking its isolationism. Whereas, the other symbolism focuses on the Ice part, reflecting Kjerag's cold climate.
- The titles of Holy Hunt operations refer to chess terms, while some of their flavor texts refer to various chess strategies.
