This event has been released and added to Record Restoration in the Global server of Arknights, and its relevant stories are now available in the Archives. As such, the content of this page and the related subpages have been archived.
Vigilo means "to watch, awake or alert" in Latin,[1] likely a reference to the Doctor's awakening from their slumber in the ChernobogSarcophagus in Prologue. In English, all of the interludes' title are also named in Latin:
Spes means "hope,"[2] and it is also the name of the Ancient Roman goddess of hope. The title in CN, JP, and KR servers is translated as "I won't hug the last hope."
Memoria means "memory" and/or "remembrance."[3] The title in CN, JP, and KR servers is translated as "I won't forget everything."
Valorem is the accusative singular of valor, meaning "value,"[4] and it also forms the phrase ad valorem, meaning "according to value." The title in CN, JP, and KR servers is translated as "I won't know whether it is valuable."
Cogitatio means "thinking/reasoning" and/or "reflection."[5] The title in CN, JP, and KR servers is translated as "I won't stop at where I think."
Anterior means "that is before" or "more forward."[6] The title in CN, JP, and KR servers is translated as "I won't be trembling in moving forward."
Pignus means "pledge," "morgage," as well as "hostage."[7] The title in CN, JP, and KR servers is translated as "me and my last bet."
Vigilo is the first event that does not introduce any new Operator.
Similar to how Darknights Memoir has its operation map forming a "W," Vigilo's forms an upside-down "V."
In the CN and TW servers, Vigilo and the rerun of The Great Chief Returns precedes Dossoles Holiday. In the Global server, both events are delayed to after DH in order for it to be released as the 2nd anniversary of Arknights Global.
Green events are exclusive to the Global server; yellow events are only released in the CN server but incorporated into other event(s) in Global instead; orange events are not released in the EN server; red events are exclusive to CN.
