As Arknights TW's 2nd anniversary event
Episode 9: Stormwatch is an event to commemorate the release of the namesake Main Theme episode which marks the start of the second part of the Arknights storyline and the third story arc, Shadow of a Dying Sun.
In the official JP website announcing the Global server's 2nd Anniversary of Arknights, a key visual featuring Kal'tsit, Amiya, Ch'en, and Bagpipe in what appears to be Victoria is prominently featured; the same image was also featured in the Youtube thumbnail of the 2nd Anniversary livestream.
Episode 9: Stormwatch is one of the few events in Arknights in which the Animation PV for Global servers is not narrated by the 6★ operator who debuted with the event (in this case, Saileach), instead being narrated by Amiya.
Excluding events that feature a limited and non-limited 6★ operators, it is also the only event in which the 6★ operator debuting with the event (Saileach) does not appear at all in the Animation PV.
The release date of Stormwatch in Global server coincides with the Saint Patrick's Day. A holiday celebrated mainly by Irish people or people of Irish descent. This corresponds with the Taran people being the equivalent of the Irish.
