“ | Prioritizes attacking the enemy with lowest DEF within range first. | ” |
—Trait description |
Deadeye Sniper, colloquially known as Long-range Sniper, is a branch of the Sniper class in Arknights.
Deadeye Snipers have the highest ATK of all Snipers with a range of 3×4 tiles with 3-tile extensions to the side and a 1-tile extension up front from Elite 1 at the expense of above-average attack interval and DP cost. They also target enemies with the lowest DEF over the others when attacking, allowing Deadeye Snipers to easily counter ranged enemies who often have low DEF.

Module | Information |

![]() DEA-X
|
New trait: The further away the enemy, the higher the damage dealt (up to an increase of 15%) |
![]() DEA-Y
|
New trait: If the attacked enemy remains alive, gain 1 additional SP |
Addendum | |
The damage increase of the DEA-X Module scales between 1 to 4 tiles away from the Deadeye Sniper's position (e.g. enemies that are 3 tiles away takes 110% damage). |
Strategies
- Deadeye Snipers' significant ATK makes them a good choice against enemies with medium to high DEF, allowing them to deal good damage against them despite their trait forcing them to prioritize enemies with lowest DEF.
- Deadeye Snipers' wide range allows them to cover multiple lanes in most Operations.
Modules
- The DEA-X Module improves the damage output of the Deadeye Sniper against further targets, which is very effective if the Deadeye Sniper in question can attack enemies outside their normal attack range (e.g. Ambriel, Fartooth).
- The DEA-Y Module allows the Deadeye Sniper to charge up their skills quicker as they damage (but not defeat) enemies.
Tips
- Due to Deadeye Snipers' high ATK but long attack interval, ATK and ASPD buff is recommended to increase their damage output.
- Reducing the DEF of a specific enemy will allow Deadeye Snipers to prioritize attacking them (unless if there's enemies with even lower DEF).
