Stories[edit]

Within the Soul Furnace of Kazdel, a ceremony meant to placate the revenants instead incites their anger. The airship fires its cannons at the Furnace, and fireworks light up the night sky. Nymph, doing her best to look after a furnace node, picks up a talking firework fragment, and in doing so takes on a special task.
|
|
Nymph visits "the Consultant" Pohl's district in search of the revenant pieces. The gangs are fighting over a meteor and are on the verge of pulling blades. With Pohl's help, Nymph recovers the revenant fragment inside the meteor, and Pohl takes the opportunity to resolve a crisis.

|
In a Sarkaz marketplace, the unconventional Crownie catches Nymph's eye. She has fashioned a revenant fragment into a gemstone brooch to go with her suit. Nymph follows her out of the city, and runs into Mostima on a delivery. After improving the design of another suit, Crownie finds she no longer needs the brooch, and gives it to Nymph.

Nymph and Pohl split up to investigate the last residential district. Along the way, Nymph visits Qalaiša, the Northwind Witch, who has recently moved in. While Qalaiša is away, Nymph becomes trapped in a strange dream of the witch's past. In her efforts to retrieve the revenant fragment, she accidentally destroys Qalaiša's hut.

Having returned to Kazdel, the Tin Man finds himself mistaken by Nymph and Pohl for being in possession of a revenant fragment. With Ermengarde's help, the gang enters the deepest depths of the Soul Furnace and returns all the fragments, then attempts a different kind of ceremony of appeasement. However, the Tin Man and the other revenants have other plans.

- On the first three days, the player can participate in three steps to make Mooncakes: Crust Dough Kneading (Day 1), Filling Mixing (Day 2), and Mooncake Baking (Day 3).
- The player must choose one of two flavors on the Crust Dough Kneading step and one of two fillings on the Filling Mixing step, which determines what furniture and Mooncake (consumable item that restores 120

- In the CN server, A Kazdelian Rescue and the release of Sarkaz's Furnaceside Fables preceded Adventure That Cannot Wait for the Sun. Since Furnaceside Fables could not be released in the Global server until at least after the release of its Expansion II in CN, and its release date of January 9, 2025 being too close to Global's 5th anniversary on January 16, 2025 which has to be covered by AS as a Carnival event, Global instead releases So Long, Adele Rerun before AS, delaying the release of KR to after AS on February 7, 2025.
