RI operation progresses are carried over from the original run (e.g. if the player have cleared RI-8 in the original run, then it will already be cleared on the rerun), but Gavial's Footprints operations are accessible from the start of the event.
The Inam Committee is reset and contains less items, but the price of certain Tribal-Style Inn furniture parts are halved (see below). This means that players who had purchased all limited items in the Inam Committee during the original run can do so again in the rerun to receive the limited items for the second time.
The Brave's Trials missions' progresses are reset but awards more Mechanical Parts with the requirement for kill-related missions reduced (see below). This means that players who had completed The Brave's Trials missions during the original run can complete them again in the rerun to receive the rewards for the second time.
Certain Path to Glory RI medals now have a different requirement to be unlocked; players who had met the condition during the original run will immediately obtain/trim the medal at the start of the rerun, if they haven't yet.
Once the rerun ends, RI is added into Terminal and its medals will no longer be obtainable, making it the last chance for players who haven't obtained RI medals in the original run to do so.
In the CN server, The Great Chief Returns Rerun precedes Dossoles Holiday. To allow DH to be released around the Global server's 2nd anniversary date of January 16, 2022, RI Rerun along with Vigilo is rescheduled to succeed DH in Global.
Global also gives out the Ten-roll Headhunting Permit in February 25, 2021 as a gratitude for over 10 million downloads on both Android and iOS, while TW receives it in the rerun of OF as a gratitude for over 1.2 million downloads.
Due to a glitch, the "Tomimi's Respect" medal are not awarded for players who added Tomimi into their roster during RI Rerun until this was fixed on a patch in February 17, 2022.[1]
Green events are exclusive to the Global server; yellow events are only released in the CN server but incorporated into other event(s) in Global instead; orange events are not released in the EN server; red events are exclusive to CN.
