A list of Chinese character voices in Arknights. They were first introduced alongside Episode 09; as of the release of Episode 12 in the CN server, every single Operator released in CN have Chinese voices.
Because the voice acting industry is relatively new to the Chinese ACGN scene, not all Chinese CVs have prior experience in voicing video game and animation characters. In fact, many of the CVs made their voice acting debut in Arknights and previously better known as minor VAs who have voiced extras in some animations or they are more active outside the Chinese ACGN scene such as Bilibili uploaders (Bai Deng/Akari.D, Gui Niang/D. QQ, and Mihu zzZ/Misty), radio drama actors (Yu Shan), singers (Sun Ye/Gary), and even radio presenters (Che Lie/Jax and Kongwudenian/Blank).
Much of the CN voice-acting are outsourced to multiple companies, with notable studios being Shanghai-based such as Haitian Studio (海天工作室), Forever Sound (恒声), Aurora Studio (极光艺响), VOICE BEAR Studio (音熊联萌), V-Clab, and Shenli Wenhua (升力文化). There are others who are freelancers including Bilibili uploaders who voice several fan-made animations as given above.
The Chinese voice acting has been overseen by two voice directors: Hai Fan from Shenli Wenhua and Dong Shengzhang (Friston-3) from Haitian Studio. Hai was the first director from the introduction of Chinese CVs until a scandal involving him and Cai Xinchun/X. Chai (see Character voices/Trivia) which results in his dismissal by Hypergryph; Dong has since becomes the second and current director.
