A cessation is always inevitable, but before then, allow me to play you one more piece.
The piece that is my life, that is myself.
—Description

Virtuosa Preview is a trailer/PV released for Arknights, acting as a teaser for Zwillingstürme im Herbst and as a introduction for the namesake Operator.

Virtuosa is voiced by her Japanese VA Aya Endo.

Transcript

The first scene shows a Lateran cemetery on which a white cello is lying before a Sankta statue and a young Virtuosa is standing next to it. She lifts her head and the sky begins to darken. It starts to rain and one raindrop falls into a puddle causing it to ripple. Now, Virtuosa is sitting before the statue playing the cello. As the play progresses, the tombstones move closer to her.

The next scene shows an amusement park with a rollercoaster, a ferris wheel, ballons flying through the sky while multiple children spectate them. Virtuosa appears in the crowd playing her new cello. During the play the light gets brighter until only silhouettes can be seen.

The next scene shows Virtuosa sitting and playing in a dark room, only being illuminated by a spotlight. Gradually, three lights turn on revealing three paintings behind which depict Virtuosa playing in different places around Terra. Finally, the lights behind her and the paintings turn on and reveal multiple silhouettes of her standing in the room.

The next scene shows multiple Seaborn crawling onto the shore from a stormy sea and surround Virtuosa who is standing there. Behind her, a giant divided wave flows towards the shore. It is split in half and from the split shines a bright light. Gradually, the light gets brighter until it flashes the screen.

Then, glass shards are shown falling from a light into the water. The scenery changes to leaves falling down on the cello which lies on the ground covered with leaves.

The next scene shows Virtuosa is playing in a city with a giant black spire standing in the background while leaves fall from a dark and cloudy sky. After briefly focusing on the spire, we see Virtuosa again but now the scenery has changed: She has closed her eyes while meteors are falling from the sky and the spire is burning. Suddenly, the leaves stop midair before flying upwards after which Virtuosa opens her eyes again and the scenery changes back to normal.

Successively, Virtuosa is shown in different places: first before the spire, then in the dark room and finally in the amusement park.

The final scene shows the cemetery again, where we see her younger and older self standing next to the statue facing each other. After a brief flash, both disappear and her new cello is now lying before the statue.

The screen turns black and on it appear the words Virtuosa is speaking:

Virtuosa: A cessation is always inevitable, but before then, allow me to play you one more piece. The piece that is my life, that is myself.

Under it appears the following sentence:

Omniam meam tibi cano. Fin.[note 1]

Arknights.
