Materials are items used in the player's development.
Battle Record[edit]
Battle Records give EXP to Operators at the cost of LMD that scales on the Operator's level and promotion; the higher the Operator's level and/or promotion, the more expensive it is for them to use Battle Records; see EXP (Operator) for more information.
Tactical Drill operations are the most efficient place to obtain Battle Records.
Upgrade[edit]
Upgrade materials, also known as elite materials or enhancement materials, are used for Operators' skill upgrades and Specialization training as well as their promotion and both unlocking and upgrading Operator Modules.
Many Main Theme and event operations have Tier 1 to 3 upgrade materials as their regular and extra drops, while some Main Theme operations have Tier 4 upgrade materials as special drops.
Other than from operation drops, upgrade materials can be obtained through the following:
- Tier 1 and 2 upgrade materials can be purchased with
Credit in the Credit Store, available at random in each day.
- Tier 3 upgrade materials can be purchased with
Commendation Certificate at the second phase of the Commendations Store.
- Certain Tier 4 upgrade materials can be purchased with
Distinction Certificate at the Distinctions Store.
- Tier 1 to 4 upgrade materials can be purchased with
Headhunting Parametric Model in the Headhunting Parametric Model Store.
- Tier 2 to 5 upgrade materials can be produced in the Workshop by using those of the preceding tier (e.g. an
Orirock Cube costs 3
Orirock), with this being the only way to produce Tier 5 upgrade materials.

- Coagulating Gel, Incandescent Alloy, Incandescent Alloy Block, and Polymerized Gel are introduced alongside Episode 06.
- Crystalline Circuit, Component, and Electronic Assembly are introduced alongside Episode 08.
- Compound Cutting Fluid, Cutting Fluid Solution, Refined Solvent, and Semi-Synthetic Solvent are introduced alongside Episode 09.
- Nucleic Crystal Sinter, Transmuted Salt, and Transmuted Salt Agglomerate are introduced alongside Episode 11.
- Aggregate Cyclicene, Cyclicene Prefab, Fuscous Fiber, and Solidified Fiber Board are introduced alongside Episode 13.
- Pseudocondensation Nucleus, Chiral Refractor and Biphasic Enantiomorphic Medium are introduced alongside Episode 15.
Skill Summary[edit]
Skill Summaries are used for Operators' skill upgrades and Specialization training.
Aerial Threat operations are the most efficient place to farm Skill Summaries.
Promotion[edit]
Promotion materials are used for Operators' promotion.
- Chips are used to promote 4★ and above Operators to Elite 1 and can be obtained from the first Fearless Protection, Fierce Attack, Solid Defense, and Unstoppable Charge operation.
- Chip Packs are used to promote 4★ Operators to Elite 2 and produce Dualchips (see below), and can be obtained from completing the second Fearless Protection, Fierce Attack, Solid Defense, and Unstoppable Charge operation.
- Dualchips are used to promote 5★ and 6★ Operators to Elite 2, and can only be produced in Factories by using the respective class' Chip Pack and
Chip Catalyst which can be purchased in the Purchase Certificate Store.
