The Factory is one of the nine RIIC facilities in Arknights. It can be built on rooms B101 to B103, B201 to B203, and B301 to B303, but only a maximum of five Factories can be built at a time.
Usage
One of the most important RIIC facilities, the Factory produces Battle Records to provide EXP for Operators and 
Pure Gold that can be traded for 
LMD at Trading Posts. Later on, it also produces Dualchips, necessary for promoting 5★ and 6★ Operators to Elite 2, and 
Originium Shard that can be traded for 
Orundum at Level 3 Trading Posts.
Factories will only function when at least one Operator is assigned there, at which they will start producing the product selected by the player at the specified quantity. Each product has its own volumes added towards the Factory's capacity; the Factory's production can be queued past the maximum capacity, but once the product's total volume reaches the maximum capacity, the production will be stopped until the product are collected, freeing up the Factory's capacity.
Once the Control Center is upgraded to Level 3, 
Drone can be used to speed up Factories' production, but they will not benefit from base skills related to the Factory.
