The Nova Knightclub Trainee is an elite enemy in Arknights.
Overview
An Elafian competitive knightess apprentice affiliated with Viviana the Candle Knight's Nova Knightclub, Nova Trainees utilize luminal Arts channeled from the candelabrum they carry to attack in range with decent ATK along with having better overall stats when compared to previously-encountered enemies with ranged Arts attacks. The Nova Trainee's strength, however, lies on their Glimmering Touch special attack in which the Trainee locks onto a friendly within range and charges up for 7 seconds before releasing a luminous burst that deals Arts damage equal to 250% of their ATK to friendly units in a radius of 2 tiles centered on the target, which is shown as orange glowing tiles during the charging process, with a cooldown 25 seconds from when the Trainee spawns.
While charging up Glimmering Touch, the Nova Trainee stops moving and attacking, and will lose their invisibility if they happen to be inside tiles without visibility. Glimmering Touch can also be interrupted by disabling the Nova Trainee amidst the charging process, and Silencing them before they charge will prevent them from using the ability.
