The Tombkeeper Grotesque is an elite enemy in Arknights.

Enemy description
A special Arts creation from the Dublinn forces, created by their leader Mandragora. According to Mandragora, back when she was studying Originium Arts in an outskirts cemetery, the Tombkeeper Grotesque was her first companion. Its outer appearance has gone through many redesigns, with the latest being based off a Sarkaz from an ancient bloodline.

Overview

Refraction; After first defeat, temporarily transforms into a stone statue with extremely high DEF, then revives as an aerial unit

An Arts Creation modeled after Gargoyle Sarkaz created by Mandragora, Tombkeeper Grotesques move at a slow pace, but boasts high HP and ATK, and good DEF, in addition to having Refraction, making them resistant to Arts damage while not being Silenced.

When the Tombkeeper Grotesque's HP reaches 0 for the first time, unless within 1 second of being hit by a collapsing Tattered Pillar (including by the Pillar itself) in which case it will be defeated as usual, it will fully restore its HP and turn into a statue with an additional 800 DEF and 30 RES, and becomes unblockable, but can neither move nor attack. If the Tombkeeper Grotesque is not destroyed within 10 seconds after entering the statue form, it will be revived as an aerial enemy which uses a ranged Arts attack (the last latter of which is not stated in-game); any buffs/debuffs on the Grotesque will be removed when it revives.

All in all, Tombkeeper Grotesques are among the most troublesome enemies with their aerial form's DEF rendering most Marksman Snipers less effective while being able to inflict heavy damage. It is highly recommended to defeat Grotesques by Tattered Pillars when given the chance or focusing on their statue forms with DPS Operators.
