The Shielded Senior Caster is an elite enemy in Arknights.
Enemy description
One of Reunion's elite Casters. They use complex Area-of-Effect Arts, making them more potent than normal Casters. They also seem to have fortified their defenses with Arts and must be handled with caution. Due to their special state, they may be more vulnerable to Arts damage.

Shielded Senior Casters are identical to Senior Casters but with higher stats especially DEF and unusually lower RES that makes them more resistant to Physical damage but more vulnerable to Arts damage.

Trivia[edit]
- Due to an oversight, the Shielded Senior Caster's code is shared with that of the Mortar Gunner.
- Along with Lurker, Originiutant Puppet, Soldier, Spec Ops Soldier, Technical Scout, and Yeti Operative, the Shielded Senior Caster is the only non-unique enemy that does not have an upgraded version.
- There is a sprite file for an upgraded version of the Shielded Senior Caster, likely to be named Shielded Senior Caster Leader, in the game files. This indicates that the Shielded Senior Caster Leader is either cut from or to be added into the game.
